Well, it has so far been 8 very long weeks since the kids have been to school. We follow the European school calendar here which means this is their big Summer break and when they return it will be the start of the new school year. Saigon is not known for being all that kid friendly. There are quite a few things to do but trust me....not enough to fill up 8 weeks (with 2 to go!) Luckily we have some great neighbours and friends to keep us all busy. The other day we enjoyed a wonderful decorating session, putting personalities to these beautiful home baked gingerbread men (not made by me I might add!).
The kids had a blast and Soph and I actually had a few moments to ourselves.
