Cham Charm.....

We had a wonderful dinner last night at Cham Charm. It was $35++USD each and that included the MOST AMAZING buffet and all drinks. My photos are attached along with the concept as described on their web page. We will definitely be back next time a seafood lover comes to visit!

The kingdom of Champa was an important phase in the political and cultural history of South-East Asia from the 2nd-12th centuries. Brand new in Hoian, the 5,000 sqm Cham Charm Restaurant is making a name for itself by devoting to ancient arts, cuisine and culture.
Build on the concept of “preserving the traditional Champa Culture”, Cham Charm is almost a mini-museum of artifacts and sculptural works of this historic and culturally rich period in its impressive decor, creating an ambiance with historic meaning.
Viewed from the outside, it is a giant white structure, plain and fairy assuming silhouetted against the river. Multi-panelled windows allow some light and views of the lush greenery surrounding the building.
Inside, however, you’ll find gorgeous paintings and hangings done in colours hang on the walls, and many sculpture works depicting soldiers, dancers, dances and gods presenting Champa culture are placed with care around the reataurant. Interestingly, the restaurant itself is a special place you’d be hard pressed to find such thing anywhere else in the country. Gazing out the windows onto the river below, you’ll be astounded all over again at the scenery here.
Upstairs, the wide open-terrace accommodates plenty of tables with ease, and offering a breath of fresh air with a view overlooks the picturesque river. At night, you will find another beauty of illuminated river with night-fishing junks, sightseeing boats…crossing now and then...The 360º views are breathtaking, but they’re only part of the reason to come here.
Cham Charm becomes a destination for wine-lovers, with a well-chosen selection of 1.300 kinds of red and white, all served at the perfect temperature. This is the Cigar & Cognac Lounge the perfect place for a post-dinner enjoy a digestif or a smoke in a peaceful surounding. This new venue also offers patrons a chance to relax at many other outlets such as Grill Kitchen Lounge, VIP Private Rooms, Fine Dining Dinner Buffets and Champagne Brunches. With such variety, Cham Charm functions as many things to many people.
A great attraction is the "world cuisine" theme, which is a great way of tasting specialty dishes from India, Thailand, Vietnam, China, Japan to specifications of lands with rich cultures in the world without paying the airfares or going through customs.
Soft lights, good service and a fantastic view over the river, will help you to enjoy a very pleasurable fine dining experience.
